Last weekend

Construction update

Here's the front with our new driveway and palm tree! You can see that the palm is right outside our bedroom window which will provide privacy once it leafs out.

Green Purse

The purse I recieved from the green purse swap, I'll post the one I made once my talented partner recieves!

Well my friend got here purse so here is the one I made her.

At least we've got her started on the good stuff.

The scottish games where great this past saturday. Thanks toLogan and his clan tent for being such great hostesses.

I love trees

I received a lovely group of goodies from my friend Tinygoatstacker. She made me a fabulous tree print tote (I'll use it for shopping, I don't like to use plastic bags), a leaf choker and earrings, a book full of tree bookmarks, a cute little hand made leaf of yarn (I'm going to add a pin to the back and add it to a purse or pin it on my shirt).

Five things you may not know about me

For September:

1- I love the sound of wind-chimes at night.
2- Centipedes give me the creeps, I think they move so unnaturally!
3- I can't wait for fall so I can have fresh candy corn.
4- I love that peeps have become available year round, no more waiting to Easter, just the next holiday!
5- All animal shaped treats should be eaten head first, it really is the only humane way, quick and painless! Especially gummy bears and animal crackers.

Construction Update

The front now with siding windows and doors!


Next is the Back, note Chuck's workshop and our screened in porch. They were installing the hot water heater the day we were there.


Then the walk in closet of the Master Bedroom complete with a Chuck! The drywall is up and electric oulets and swtiches are in!

Me in my kitchen, was taken from the living room so you see the breakfast bar and the dining room. And you see all the doors and trim work is there awaiting installation!

All in all things are moving along great! We can not wait!
